Stogies Reel Off Another Win
|
Havana left-hander Joe Hardy was in fine form, shutting out the Oklahoma City Prowlers, 5-0. In 6 innings, Hardy surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. The Havana winning streak has now reached 6 games.
Flexing his muscles for Havana was Reynaldo Aguilera. The first baseman had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third for the Stogies. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Aguilera went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
