Phoenix played host to Carson City at the friendly confines of UFO Field.

Stan Wallace made an impact in the 8-3 Phoenix win over Carson City. Wallace went 2 for 2 with a triple and was hit 3 times. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The second-place Lights are now 33-21, the Mustang 28-26.

Wallace contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing triple, for Phoenix in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-2, Wallace took a fastball from Pedro Robles and stroked the triple to right-center. His 1st triple of the season allowed the Lights to leap in front, 5-3.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Wallace. "But I have better dreams after a win."
