It was a fun time at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park, where the Seattle Sasquatch and Bloomington Blazers tangled.
The Bloomington Blazers topped the Seattle Sasquatch by the score of 5-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Wiley Smith. Smith was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Blazers on the day. The Blazers are now 17-22, while the Sasquatch fall to 15-23.
Norwood, Ohio-born Ron Peterson came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd and the Blazers trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to center to put Bloomington on top.
