Snaps Get Past Long Island for 7-6 Win
Cincinnati beat Long Island, 7-6. The win in part was due to first baseman Kunihiko Sakai, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 1-2 with a home run and a walk. The win was Shafeeq bin Nooh's in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Rafael Robles took the loss for Long Island. Cincinnati's record now stands at 19-30, placing them 6th in the Ford Frick League Junction Jack Division.

Jake Tucker had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the eighth for the Snaps. Coming up with the bases loaded and Cincinnati trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run double.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Tucker told the Cincinnati Gazette.
