Crawford Excels, But Hawks Win
The inspired effort of Madison designated hitter Scott Crawford was not enough to prevent a 10-6 loss to the Boise Hawks. Crawford hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Juan Galindo got credit for the win, improving to 3-5. He allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 7 innings. Boise is now 17-30, Madison 22-25.

The tide might have turned with two out in the top of the third, had not Juan Galindo made a big pitch. With the bases loaded and the Beehive trailing 4-1, he retired Mike McCaw, who flied out.
