The Phoenix Lights scored a 3-2 win versus the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Clone Army. Phoenix pitcher Seong-rae An nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The Lights have an impressive 29-16 record.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, Hidehira Ohayashi was at the plate when Phoenix scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Lights to go in front, 2-1.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Ernie Goslin.
