Lights Fall Short, 6-5, at San Antonio
The San Antonio Storm Troopers and Phoenix Lights obliged those fans who came to The Clone Army hoping for an exciting game.

The San Antonio Storm Troopers turned back the Phoenix Lights, 6-5, at The Clone Army. Arana Kesiraju was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. San Antonio reliever Trevor Tween got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Lorenzo Espinoza was tagged with the loss.

Kesiraju went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once against the Lights. In the bottom of the first inning, he hit a 3-run home run that scored 3 and put San Antonio in front, 3-0.

Kesiraju called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."

The Storm Troopers saw their record improve to 23-21.
