Johnson Impressive in Cincinnati Win
Cincinnati used a superb performance from starting pitcher Andrew Johnson to down the DeKalb Cornhuskers, 4-1. Cincinnati, at 15-29, occupies last place in the Ford Frick League Junction Jack Division.

Johnson earned the win, going 7.2 strong innings for Cincinnati. The native of Waterbury, Connecticut allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 9. DeKalb hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.

"I like what I saw today," said Cincinnati manager Steve Nolan, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
