Beehive Fall Short at Sandy Springs
The Sandy Springs Spartans and Madison Beehive obliged those fans who came to The Coliseum looking for a good time.

Roberto Santiso left his imprint on the 7-6 Sandy Springs win against the Madison Beehive. Santiso, who leads the FFL in triples with 5, went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Julián Salazar was credited with the save for Sandy Springs, his 8th of the season.

Santiso's at-bat in the bottom of the eighth was a game-changer. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Spartans trailing 6-5, the speedster stroked a 2-run single.

"It's a long season," said Santiso. "We'll keep working to improve."

Even with the win, the Spartans have a dismal 13-28 record.
