|
The DeKalb Cornhuskers bested the Rock River Rats by a score of 8-4, with designated hitter Logan Shelton getting the main credit. On the day, Shelton was 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Cornhuskers. Marc Norton was the winner. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts.
