Robert Cook pitched well, but the Omaha Titans still lost the game, falling 4-1 to the Kansas City Tornadoes at Titans Park. Kansas City reliever Kulapati Pandian picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Robert Cook shouldered the loss. Michael Burton finished to wrap up his 13th save.

Todd McCarthy did his part for the Tornadoes, producing a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the right fielder was 1-4.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Kansas City manager Alex Woods.

Kansas City is third in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division with a record of 20-19.
