Rats Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Bulldogs
The Spokane Bulldogs wiggled past the Rock River Rats, 10-9, at The Kennel. Spokane left fielder Mark Acres earned player of the game honors. Spokane reliever Yoshiki Sato picked up the win to move to 4-0. Tsuyoshi Tadokoro suffered the loss. Rock River now has a 5-game losing streak.

A critical at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning when the Bulldogs sent 22-year-old designated hitter Jud Banks to the plate with the bases loaded. The youngster shook off the pressure and hit a sacrifice fly, to put Spokane on top, 10-9.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Acres said.
