Yokoyama Lifts Storm Troopers to 9-6 Triumph
Benefiting from the performance of Yaichiro Yokoyama, the San Antonio Storm Troopers defeated the Rock River Rats, 9-6. Yokoyama was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Storm Troopers. San Antonio reliever Cody Ladd picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Kang-il Hyong shouldered the loss. The second-place Storm Troopers have won 4 straight.

San Antonio grabbed the momentum in the top of the sixth, when Yokoyama, who is tied for 3rd in the FFL in RBI with 29, hit a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Storm Troopers out in front, 6-2.

"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Yokoyama told the San Antonio Today.
