Fans who gathered at The Studio saw a good contest between the Wichita Wolverines and Cincinnati Snaps.

Starting pitcher Michinaga Sato pitched well enough to help the Wichita Wolverines beat the Cincinnati Snaps by the score of 6-4. Freek Janszen picked up the save for Wichita, his 9th of the year.

Wichita grabbed a 5-4 lead in the top of the sixth when Nobuhisa Toyota hit a run-scoring triple. For the day, Toyota went 2 for 3 with a triple, while scoring 2 runs.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Sato.

Wichita is now 18-17, while Cincinnati is 12-23.
