Big Day for Nomura as Predators Down Storm Troopers, 9-8
The Clone Army was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Topeka Predators and the San Antonio Storm Troopers.

The Topeka Predators topped the San Antonio Storm Troopers by the score of 9-8, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Yodo Nomura. Nomura was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Predators on the day. Topeka reliever Tony Freelove was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Steve Ferguson took the loss for San Antonio. Petya Chajegov earned the save, his 7th, for the Predators.

In the top of the 2nd, the Predators grabbed the lead when Del Miller rapped a two-out double. Topeka was trailing 5-4, when Miller hit a bases-clearing double off Steve Ferguson to put his team in front, 7-5.

"We came out aggressive," said Topeka Predators manager Armando Ortíz. "We came out swinging the bats."

Topeka has a mark of 18-13 after the win.
