Storm Troopers Raise Rally Flag, Beat Boise, 4-3
|
The San Antonio Storm Troopers eked out a 4-3 win versus the Boise Hawks at The Clone Army. Nobody did more than pitcher Nobuhiko Miyashita, who captured player of the game honors. The Hawks fall to 11-19 and continue their lackluster start to the 2028 season.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when San Antonio third baseman Yan Rossi, facing Pedro Salas, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Storm Troopers the 4-3 win.
"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Rossi. "Just do my job."
