A 4-RBI performance from the 26-year old shortstop Damian Hoolahan helped the Cabo San Lucas Toreros beat the San Diego Hops, 10-4. Cabo San Lucas currently is in 5th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 19-19.

Mokichi Kono said the idea of hitting a home run crossed his mind when he came to bat in the top of the seventh. Kono belted a solo home run to stake Cabo San Lucas to a 5-4 lead. His 9th home run of the season came off San Diego pitcher Walt Lawson.

"Good win for us," said Kono. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
