The Madison Beehive topped the Cincinnati Snaps, 5-4, in Ford Frick League action at The Hive. The player of the game was Madison pitcher Scott Morel. Madison reliever Tom Wilson picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Shafeeq bin Nooh was collared with the loss. The Snaps fall to 9-18 and continue their uneasy start to the 2028 season.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Madison second baseman Wei-quo Tu, facing Shafeeq bin Nooh, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Beehive the 5-4 win.

In postgame comments to the Madison Gazette, Tu said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
