|
The Long Island Ducks bested the Spokane Bulldogs by a score of 9-5, with right fielder Shawn Harris getting the main credit. On the day, Harris was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Ducks. The win takes Long Island to 13-14.
Enrique Rivera, who is tied for 4th in the FFL in bases on balls with 23, helped out the Long Island cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Harris told the Long Island Gazette.
