Riding the 3-hit performance of the 21-year old second baseman Blair Donahue, the Spokane Bulldogs stopped the Long Island Ducks, 11-2. The Bulldogs, now 17-9, have been on a roll in the early going.

In the top of the first, Todd Colbert ambushed a 2-2 slider from Greg O'Dell and hit a solo home run. It gave Spokane a quick 1-0 lead.

"We're a pretty talented bunch when we're playing well," said Colbert. "I think we showed that here."
