Predators Win at Phoenix, 8-3
|
Topeka first baseman Del Miller was instrumental in his team's 8-3 win over the Phoenix Lights. Miller, who is tied for 6th in the FFL in RBI with 21, went 2-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Predators. The loss drops Phoenix to 16-11.
Yakamochi Miyamoto was a key contributor to the win for the Predators. In the top of the third with two out, the light-hitting left fielder stroked a home run to center. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Miyamoto.
