Boise Hawks starter Juan Galindo was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Phoenix Lights, 2-0. Hou-kang Li closed the door for Boise, picking up his 5th save of the year. With the win, Boise pushes its record to 10-12.

Early in the game, right fielder Carlos López had a 2-run single for Boise. It was his 25th hit of the season and put the Hawks on top, 2-0.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Phoenix skipper Rod Allen, "and it cost us."
