Sughavanam Twirls a Gem for Rock River
|
Rock River and Cincinnati met at The Rat Hole in front of a lively crowd.
Rock River Rats starter Adharma Sughavanam was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Cincinnati Snaps, 4-0. Tsuyoshi Tadokoro closed the door for Rock River, picking up his 9th save of the year.
Sughavanam, a native of India, was dealing all game. He kept Cincinnati hitters off-balance, while giving the Rats 7 quality innings. Sughavanam threw 106 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 8.
"I had pretty much everything working," said Sughavanam.
The Rats, now 16-8, have been red hot.
