Center Fielder Ando 4-4, Steals Spotlight in Rock River Rout
|
The Rock River Rats buried the Cincinnati Snaps, 17-2, under a barrage of hits. Shoji Ando led the onslaught, going 4-for-4 for Rock River. The Snaps fall to 8-14 and continue their uneasy start to the 2028 season.
Ando was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 4 against the Snaps. With the game tied in the bottom of the second inning, he hit a sacrifice fly that scored 1 and put Rock River in front, 3-2.
"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Cincinnati manager Steve Nolan. "We got the snot knocked out of us."
