Ashley Heath pitched a gem to lead Spokane to a 6-1 victory over the DeKalb Cornhuskers. The Bulldogs, now 14-6, have been on fire in the early going.

Spokane first baseman Blair Donahue helped the Bulldogs go up, 1-0, in the top of the fourth inning. With the game tied, Donahue hit a run-scoring double off DeKalb pitcher Habib Lashari.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Donahue told the Spokane Daily.
