Hisato Okubo pitched well, but the Spokane Bulldogs still lost the game, falling 4-2 to the San Antonio Storm Troopers at The Kennel. Armando Medina earned the save for San Antonio, his 2nd of the year. The win brings the Storm Troopers to 8-6, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Yan Rossi's at-bat in the top of the seventh was significant for the Storm Troopers. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and San Antonio leading 2-1, the shortstop hit a 2-run single.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Rossi.
