Wolverines Waste Great Game from Seto
Wichita got a terrific game from second baseman Loo Seto. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to DeKalb, 10-6. Seto was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Kitahachi Fukuda got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 10 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 2. DeKalb is now 6-7.

Juan Hernández had a go-ahead single for DeKalb in the bottom of the third. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, the 26-year old center fielder hit a run-scoring single off Jin-ho Chin. His 15th hit of the season made the score 4-3.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Shusaku Fukuda.
