Spartans Take Close Win Over Snaps
The Spartans had to overcome a fine effort from Cincinnati pitcher Andrew Johnson to grab a narrow 5-4 win at The Studio. Johnson went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. The Snaps, now 5-9, continue their sluggish start.

Roberto Santiso was one of the major contributors to the win for Sandy Springs. The light-hitting shortstop stroked a single to center in the top of the ninth inning. For the day, he went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times.
