Snaps Beat Ducks, 12-5
|
Cincinnati right fielder Kieran Alexander played a vital role in his team's 12-5 triumph over Long Island. He was 2-6 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Cincinnati. The win was Shafeeq bin Nooh's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Greg O'Dell took the loss for Long Island. The Snaps are off to a tough start, getting just their 4th win in 11 games.
Doeke de Wit was one of the major contributors to the win for Cincinnati. The light-hitting second baseman stroked a single to left in the top of the second inning. For the day, he went 2-5 with 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Alexander said.
