The Rock River Rats topped the Long Island Ducks, 5-2, in Ford Frick League action at The Rat Hole. The player of the game was Rock River pitcher and Bournemouth, England native Adam Pitkeathy. Tsuyoshi Tadokoro, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save. Rock River, now 5-3, has played well in the early going.

The Rats picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Pitkeathy said after the game.
