The Coliseum was the site for Ford Frick League action featuring the Sandy Springs Spartans and Boise Hawks.
The Boise Hawks topped the Sandy Springs Spartans by the score of 8-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Kadambi Patterjee. Patterjee was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Hawks on the day. Boise is now 3-3.
Doing his part for Boise was left fielder Carl Questi, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the third. For the game, Questi went 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
