A 4-RBI performance from the 25-year old center fielder Kurt Knight helped the Boise Hawks beat the Sandy Springs Spartans, 9-6. The win takes Boise to 2-2.

Billy Cleary struck a blow for the Hawks in the top of the sixth when he hit a 2-run home run. It put his team ahead, 5-3. For the game, Cleary went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Cleary told the Boise Times.
