António Medrano pitched a gem to lead San Francisco to a 4-1 victory over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. Jonathan Martin got credit for the save for San Francisco. It was his 11th of the year. San Francisco is now 23-14, 2 games up in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.

Jorge Zamora took Phoenix Smith deep with no one out in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch sinker, Zamora drilled a 2-run home run to left-center. It was his 5th home run of the season and put San Francisco on top, 2-0.
