The DeKalb Cornhuskers beat the Rock River Rats, 8-6, at The Rat Hole. The Cornhuskers got a fine performance from first baseman Lee Collier, who captured player of the game honors. The Cornhuskers, now 1-2, have not found much traction so far in 2028.
