In a low-scoring clash between Rock River and DeKalb, pitcher Shan-bo Kung was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Rock River in the 3-1 win. Rock River, at 2-0, is off to a blistering start.
A defensive miscue in the bottom of the sixth cost the Cornhuskers. With Rock River leading 1-0, Herman Wolf reached on an error by the 1B, driving in 1 run. Rock River ended up winning the ballgame.
