The Frisco Rams powered past the Pacifica Shamrocks, 12-9, at McCormick Field. Mitsuhide Rin was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, to lead the charge. The winner was Toshikasu Yoshida in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Gabriel Bernard took the loss. The third-place Rams raised their record to 100-61.

Rin had a game-changing single in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 fastball from Gabriel Bernard, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the Rams a 10-9 lead. It was the 114th hit of the year for Rin.

"Enjoyed this one," Rin told the Frisco Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
