The bad news for the Seattle Sasquatch: an opening day loss, 5-4, to the Dallas Texans at Sick's Stadium. The good news: it was just game one in a long season. Earning player of the game honors was Toby Chave. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. Felipe Rodríguez picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 5 in 8 innings.
