Black Knights Defeat Ducks, 6-4
|
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Killeen Black Knights and Wisconsin Dells Ducks came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
The Black Knights grabbed a win, 6-4, at The Pond, overcoming a fine effort from Wisconsin Dells pitcher Mito Omichi. Omichi went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Callum Butler sewed up the save, his 4th.
Raśl Altagracia had a nice at-bat for the Black Knights with two out in the top of the fourth. With the bases loaded, the first baseman hit a 2-run double, which would prove important in the Killeen win.
"Nice to get this one," said Altagracia. "Wins have been hard to come by."
The last-place Black Knights raised their record to 45-114.
