Hackers Clip Shamrocks in Tight Contest
The Silicon Valley Hackers and Pacifica Shamrocks lit up the scoreboard at McCormick Field.

Rhys Wallace was the difference-maker for the Silicon Valley Hackers in what turned into a shootout with the Pacifica Shamrocks. Wallace earned the player of the game award after going 3-for-6 in the 15-9 Hackers win. The Hackers bumped their record to 81-75 with this latest triumph.

The Hackers took the lead, 8-7, in the top of the ninth. Clarence Anderson had the clutch at-bat. With no one out and the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run double.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Wallace said.
