Walk-Off Seals 106th Victory for Ducks
|
The Wisconsin Dells Ducks did just enough to secure a 5-4 victory over the Sioux Falls Trojans at The Pond. Nobody did more than pitcher Anenas Kunwarjit, who captured player of the game honors. Wisconsin Dells reliever Cheng-qian Xia was credited with the win, to go to 7-2. Sung-hwan Park took the loss for Sioux Falls. The Ducks own a robust 106-50 mark.
Teo Nguyen had the critical at-bat for Wisconsin Dells. With one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave Wisconsin Dells the 5-4 walk-off win.
"Our team showed some gumption," said Kunwarjit. "I like it."
