The Jacksonville Hellcats clobbered the Pacifica Shamrocks, 14-3, at Hellcats Park today. Jacksonville right fielder Jason Donovan was named player of the game for his productive day. He was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Phil Phillips, the winner, improved to 4-5. He held Pacifica to 2 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. Jacksonville is now 67-84, Pacifica 99-52.

One important at-bat for Jacksonville came with two out in the bottom of the fourth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Donovan hit a 3-run home run, which contributed to the Hellcats win.
