Defenders Suffer 3-2 Setback
|
Frisco turned a good effort from starter Domingo Moreno into a win over the West Coast Defenders at Outlander Park. The final score was 3-2. The Rams, at 93-57, sit in third place in the Alexander Cartwright League Pirate Parrot League.
One significant at-bat for Frisco came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the seventh. Rams third baseman Sang-soo Kim reached on an error by the 3B, which helped Frisco go on to win.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Moreno.
