The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats and Lake of the Isles Wolves brought some excitement to The Den.

Getting a good performance from second baseman George Goldsworthy, the Lake of the Isles Wolves defeated the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 8-3. Goldsworthy went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Wolves. At 68-77, the Wolves are currently 4th in the Alexander Cartwright League Bernie Brewer Division.

Flexing his muscles for Lake of the Isles was Hoffman Baal. The catcher had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second for the Wolves. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Baal was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
