Shamrocks, Dixon Blast Black Knights

The Pacifica Shamrocks used an offensive barrage to beat the Killeen Black Knights, 10-2, at McCormick Field. Justin Dixon led the way, going 1-for-2 for Pacifica. Andrew Kesterton earned his 2nd save in 2 tries. The Black Knights have now dropped 5 straight.
There was more than one reason the Shamrocks beat the Black Knights, but Dixon's big at-bat in the bottom of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 4-1 lead when he hit a 3-run home run.
"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Killeen manager Chase Burke. "We got flat-out beat."
