Hellcats Win Thriller, 5-4
|
The Hellcats Park faithful were treated to an exciting walk-off win.
The Jacksonville Hellcats scored a 5-4 win versus the Riverside Red Bulls at Hellcats Park. Jacksonville designated hitter Ze-dong Xun nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Their 65-82 record puts the Hellcats 5th in the Alexander Cartwright League Pirate Parrot League.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Jacksonville trailing 4-2, Xun belted a curveball from Allen Blair for a 3-run home run, sending the Hellcats to a dramatic walk-off win.
"This place was rockin'," Xun said.
