Rams Get One-Run Win at Silicon Valley
The Frisco Rams eked out a 7-6 win versus the Silicon Valley Hackers at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Nobody did more than center fielder Pete Rowland, who captured player of the game honors. Rainer Waldheim closed it out for his 10th save. The Rams raised their record to 91-56.

Frisco designated hitter Carlos Rosário helped the Rams go up, 7-5, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Rosário hit a 2-run single off Silicon Valley pitcher Rob Simons.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez.
