Enforcers Win Again, Extend Streak to 6
The umbrellas came out during the Atlantic City-Newark contest at Cobras Ballpark.

Mario Robles pitched a good game, but his team, the Newark Jail Birds, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the Atlantic City Enforcers at Cobras Ballpark. Jin-song Ouyang got the win, improving to 6-15. He held the Jail Birds to 1 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Máximo Larreta was called on to finish, recording his 18th save.

The Enforcers beat the Jail Birds in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out triple Ryuichi Kobayashi produced in the top of the sixth. Batting against Newark pitcher Mario Robles, Kobayashi gave his team a 2-1 lead when he hit a run-scoring triple.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Atlantic City manager Warren Barnes.

The Newark losing streak has now reached 5 games.
