Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Enforcers
The Atlantic City Enforcers defeated the Temple Goers, 7-4, at Parliament Field. Atlantic City pinch hitter Hsin-ta Pian was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Atlantic City reliever Jim Unknown picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Byers was saddled with the loss. Even with the win, the Enforcers have a dismal 45-97 record.

The outcome might have been different had it not been for Pian. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Enforcers were trailing 4-3, Pian delivered a two-out grand slam home run for Atlantic City, giving his team the lead.

"Wish we'd had more wins to celebrate like this one," said Pian.
