The Frisco Rams and Jacksonville Hellcats were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Outlander Park.

Jacksonville used a superb performance from starting pitcher Josh Richard to down the Frisco Rams, 6-1. Richard got the win, improving to 9-19. He allowed 1 hits and walked 4 over 7 innings. Richard allowed 1 earned run.

Also having an impact was right fielder Jason Donovan, who stroked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth for Jacksonville. For the game, Donovan went 1 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Jacksonville manager Pete Dellow.

Jacksonville is 63-81 and Frisco, with the loss, 89-55.
