Wisconsin Dells left fielder Jayin Sita had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Pacifica Shamrocks, 6-4. Wisconsin Dells reliever Atmananda Katragadda picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Carlos Martínez was collared with the loss. Tim Stady Jr. converted his 30th save in 31 tries.
Had Sita not come through in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Sita hit a grand slam. The Ducks never looked back after taking the 6-4 lead.
Sita said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
Wisconsin Dells currently is in second place in the Alexander Cartwright League Pirate Parrot League at 94-48.
